Big girl Beds....

We recently decided ,after having Emma falling out of the crib again, to switch the girls to big girl beds. They have been sleeping in them for 3 nights so far and the first night Sophie woke up once and was standing by the changing table whining when I came in, so not so bad. The second night Sophie woke up again at about 2 am crying a ton, woke up Ethan who wanted me by him constantly which in turn made Sophie even more upset. Then of coarse Emma woke up with all of the commotion. So needless to say I had a bad case of strep, and was up for 2 1/2 hours that night. ROUGH. Then last night Sophie woke up at 11:30, 1:30 and 4. I think Sophie is having a hard time because she is in the actual toddler bed not the one that was formerly their crib. Im hoping that she will get over it soon because I NEED MY SLEEP child... Even though it has been rough they look REALLY cute all tucked in their big girl beds.

I just cant tell you how much I am thankful for my family! I absolutely love going to Grandmas every week and letting the kids play with their grandma's and grandpa and aunts. It is so fun. This week they watched the kids while us "kids".... me, Mike, Jess, and Ash... went to the movies. Thank you so much adults! You are the best! Before we left I was able to snap a few pics of the kids playing in the perfect weather yesterday. They even left their hair bows in!! WOW!

Emma LOVED the slide. She was so happy. I don't think I have ever seen her smile so much!

She also loved the swing. We probably could have left her in there all night and she would have been happy!

Sophie just walked around exploring.

And tried to slide with her sis.

Ethan loves being outside. It gives him a chance to get all of his energy out!

Oh and that is the face he gives me when I say "SMILE"

And he had to make a wish with Auntie Ashley.

Now if only I knew what it was.....Probably " I wish I could have tons of candy and no dinner"

I'm so happy the weather is getting so good!
