I had a few of those moments today. The feeling that I am so very blessed and couldn't ask for more.
I was watching my show (Grey's Anatomy for those who don't know. :) and Ethan came into my room from playing his wii and gave me a huge hug and said "I love you so much". He cuddled with me for a minute and then gave me a kiss and fell asleep. I could just die. It was so cute and heartfelt.
For the last few days Emma has somehow convinced me to rock her to sleep and tonight she just looked at me and made the cutest squinty face and it reminded me of one of the first nights she was here on this earth. She was brought in by one of the nurses at the hospital and I was cuddling her and she made the very same squinty smiley face and I remember exactly hoe happy and blessed it made me feel.
I was also able to cuddle with Sophie this afternoon after her nap. It was so precious because she is such a busybody I never get the chance to do it.
Sophie also came up to me today with a flower in her hand and said "uh oh". So I said " do you want it back in?" and she laud her little head on my lap for me to put it back in. It was so funny! Cute girl!
And because it is not like to post without a pic.....
This is the first time the girls took a bath without their tub seats:) We will see how they do with that.
I am so blessed to have great kids and a wonderful Hubby!!
The girls are starting to crawl out of the tub! While i am getting one of them out the other decides to hop out too. SOOO i have started getting them out together. Here they are. Now I just need to get some robes or something so that the towels dont fall of while walking to their room. :)
They will always sit still and watch Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs. I have seen that movie so much I think I can quote the whole movie!

This year my parents went on a Cruise and were nice enough to bring the kids some presents back. They got the girls these adorable dresses. I absolutely love them! Here are some pictures that I had to take of them with their dresses!
Labor day can mean only one thing to our family........WENDOVER! I have been going there with my family for as long as I can remember. We have always had poolside rooms and we take up about all of them. I love getting together with all of my mom's side of the family. We swim a ton and eat even more. I didnt take as much video this year as I would have hoped and not as many pictures either. These girls kept me pretty busy.
Here are the kids on the way out to Wendover. They only slept for like an hour when they usually have a 3 hour nap so the first day was pretty traumatic!

I got the kids some winter pjs so they didnt freeze in the hotel room at night.
Our family has this tradition that when you go on vacation together you get "vacation presents". Pretty sweet deal huh? It usually includes some kind of gift, a treat and some money to spend. How nice of my family right?
The kids got really cute animal folding chairs from my grandma, some fun puzzles from my aunt and my mom gave them some cool buckets and shovels along with a container for all of their toys! Thanks guys.

Buffet time! I had to keep the girls entertained with my phone. They were pretty sleepy and cranky!

We were pretty crammed in down in that basement. Here is how our bedroom looked before....
Yeah......a toddler bed, a king size bed, 2 dressers, a crib and a changing table.....I don't know how we did it.
We are just using this as storage now so there really isn't a great after pic to show.
