New friend

Well Ethan has a new little buddy. His name is Tyler and he is our friend Moki's son. I watched him a few times this week and had so much fun. Ethan and him got along so well! Today I took them to the Zoo. We had a great time. The girls got pretty tired because it was their nap time but we had a good time. Here are a few pics I took.

Time with the fam

Around here we are crazy busy..... to say the least. We have about a zillion family events, birthdays, errands and so forth. I am so thankful for my life even though sometimes I feel like its going to spin out of control from all of the stuff we are doing.

A few weeks ago Mike said " I think we should do a Family Home Evening on Mondays". I loved the idea. So far we have gone bowling with Ethan ( the girls would have been crazy the whole time so they stayed with Grandma and Grandpa), and this week we just had a nice night in with a movie. We watched The Princess and the Frog. Ethan had already seen it in the theater but loved watching it again. Sophie had fallen asleep really early and Emma was just playing in her room pretty chill. We decided to see if Emma would come watch with us.....She did and then fell asleep. At almost the same moment Sophie decided her late evening nap was over and woke up. She came down and cuddled with me and watched the rest of the movie.

I loved having my whole family in the same room doing the same thing. With three little busy bodies it doesn't happen very often around here. I am so thankful for my family. It seems like just recently I have been an emotional wreck....in a good way....I just get so overwhelmed with how much I have been blessed. I have a wonderful husband who works so hard for our family and makes me smile every day. I love him so much. He has such a big heart and we have so much fun together. I also have been blessed with not one....but three beautiful, healthy, happy (for the most part) kids. They just make me so happy. I just cant get enough of them. They are so smart and also have big hearts....just like daddy. Just last night on the way to my moms house Ethan said " I love you girls"! He may not get along with them all the time but he sure loves them with all of his heart. One other example that comes to mind is one Sunday on our way home my uncle was holding one of the babies as we were saying goodbye. Ethan thought that he was taking her home and he said " Give us our baby".

Thank you Mike, Ethan, Emma and Sophie for making my life so happy. I love you with all of my heart!

Happy DADDA day

Yesterday was Fathers day and usually i am a picture taking maniac on holidays but our family has been sick this weekend. Mike opened his presents....a few shirts, a mini pool table, and a keychain similar to my mothers day necklace with all of the kids names on it. Mikes mom made a great meal for us when they got home from church "chicken and rice". It was way yummy. Then we headed over to my moms house to give my dad his presents. I wish I would have got a pic of the wrapping paper I used. It was just rolls of blank paper decorated by my kids. It was pretty cute. Then off to grandma Yoshi's house. We had BBQ there and I ended up taking Mike home early because he was under the weather.

I am so thankful for the FATHERS in my life. My husband has been so great to my kids. I am so blessed to have him in my life! I couldn't imagine my life any different. Thank you sweetheart.
 My dad. I am thankful for him too. He is such a good man. I have so many fond memories of my childhood because of him. I am so thankful that he is so wonderful to my kids too. They love him to death and Ethan talks about him all the time.
And to all of the other dads in my life. Thank you so much for all you do for me and my kids. I truly appreciate all that you do!

I made this up for Ethan to "fill out" or tell me what to write in the spaces. He did pretty well but needed help in some spaces.....the one space that he didn't need help was his favorite thing about daddy is his " BUM" Hahaha. SO funny.

YUP another installment of some of the moments that I capture on my iPhone.

This is how I found the girls asleep a few days ago. So adorable!!

Ok so this one just kills me. We put Sophie to sleep with her bottle and it was pretty quiet in there so we go to check on her to see if her bottle is gone and this is how we found her. She is TOTALLY asleep! Yeah. I don't even know how you fall out of bed and number one stay in the position and number 2 stay sleeping!!??

We went bowling last night and when I went to get my bowling ball out of storage this is how I found it!!!

Mike's wonderful sister Malia always sends the kids clothes and toys that my niece Hana has grown out of. Here is a pic that i sent to her thanking them for all of the wonderful things.
