Our Little Ethan Bear

With so many entries about the babies I thought that I would make one for our little boy....well big boy now! Here are some fun moments we have had recently...

POTTY TIME
He is starting to potty train and has been doing a really good job but he is not quite there yet....
Last night he said he wanted a potty treat just for the heck of it! When he gets on the potty and I am there helping him not fall in, ( he has fallen in.....twice :) we look at each other and he gets the biggest silliest smile. It is so cute. He also says "poopoo potty" when he needs to go. We will get there.

HI SIR
When we were at primarys for the girls he was hanging out with Grandpa an they saw a police officer and ethan turns to the officer and says "Hi Sir". So lately everthing is "no thank you sir" and "ok sir"

MY FAVORITES....
Some of my favorite things that Ethan says .....
"Ratatouille" He loves that movie
"Quesadella" it really is K SA DE A
"Love you" Sounds like LUF YOU :)
"Play bubble pop" He loves to play that game on our i phone
"See you later"

LOVE YOU
We say I love you a ton to Ethan and he has recently started saying it back to us. It really sounds like LUF YOU. It is so cute. He also says love you to anything and everthing. Yesterday he was playing with my hair an he said " Hi hair" .... " Love you hair" hehehe

Grandpa and Grandma
He says grandpa like "ampa" and Grandma "amma". He sometimes stays at my moms house and my mom always makes him ask me if he can stay and he says " stay ampas house please" Its so cute ... how can I resist!

Mr. Polite.
He is really good at saying Please and Thank you. He has even been saying it on his own lately. "potty treat please" , "more please", "juice please" He has even started saying thank you on his own when we give him something. Now keep in mind this took alot of me coaxing him. Every time he asked something I would say " what do you say?" and when he got it I would make sure he said thank you. After EVERYTHING Yeah It got pretty repetitive! I guess it is worth having a polite little 2 year old.

BABY BACK
This one is sad but cute. He has had a really hard time with the new additions to our family and he frequently says "baby back" when we are holding the babies. He is just so used to being the center of attention that he cant stand it when he wants me and I am not available. So sad and the way he says it just breaks my heart. On the other hand he has started to show a little interest in the babies. He will say "Hi babies" and on 2 occasions he has asked to hold the babies. Its pretty cute but he quickly wants them back off of him.

I PHONE
Well all of my family thinks that Ethan is just so smart which he is but this really shows how smart he is. Without showing him what to do he turned on my I phone, slid the bar to unlock the phone, and scrolled to another page where a game we let him play was on and opened that game to play it. Wow , now he is a pro at the i Phone.

WHAT A GREETING
We taught him to say " Nice to meet you" It is so cute! He takes so much time on each word to say it correctly. He even shakes your hand when he says it.

LIL SPORTS FAN
He knows what the logos of all of our sports teams are ... Utes, Jazz, and Yankees. He loves to watch basket ball , baseball, football...you name it! He definantly takes after his daddy. He also says "Go Jazz" and " Defence" and has said that for quite some time. We took him to a Jazz game a week ago and he loved it!!

MR SENSITIVE
He always askes to watch the movie Wall E but in the movie there is a part where wall E is holding on to a space ship and its zooming in outerspace and he is screaming and when Ethan watches that part he gets so sad , even to the point of tears. It is so cute. He is scared for wall E. He cries every time but still wants to watch it.

BEATLES
My dad is a huge Beatles fan and he has tons of Beatles stuff around the house and now when he sees a pic of the band he says " Beatles"! I think he might be the only 2 year old who knows who they are.

We love our little Ethan and I hope that he knows that even though we have our hands full and there are some little girls taking some of his time that we love him with all of our hearts!

MWAH Ethan!!!
