4 of july at YOSHIS!!

We had our annual "4th" of july party at my grandmas house. It always takes place on the 3rd but this year it was on the 2nd. We had so much fun! Lots of yummy food, great friends, awesome family and of coarse one of the best firework display in the valley! Favorite moment of the night........Me holding Emma during the firworks and her loving them. She kept pointing at them and clapping and then holding my arm when they got a little loud. She even feel asleep in my arms while the fireworks were going on! I loved it.

Potty time!!

Ok so we started potty training Ethan when he was like 2 1/2 and it did NOT work. I just bucked up and said what the heck lets really give it another try. I think he was more ready now at 3 1/2 than he was a year ago. So far it has gone.....as to be expected. He has done really good, some accidents, one day of complete meltdown on my part, and finally one whole day with no accidents. He still does not really know when he has to go on his own and we are using the timer on my phone to time his trips. We even set the timer sound as a duck or a robot so it makes it fun for him. He gets a potty treat every time he goes potty and gets a sticker too. When he gets all the stickers on his "#2" page then he gets a pillow pet!! So........so far so good. Lets just hope he keeps getting better!~

Pool time

Well we took the kids down to swim today....disaster....and on Tuesday. Ethan is practically a fish but the girls really are not into the whole pool thing. Adrienne and her cute girls came over to swim too. It was fun to see them and Ethan had a blast. Hopefully the girls will eventually like the pool. Keep our fingers crossed.

New friend

Well Ethan has a new little buddy. His name is Tyler and he is our friend Moki's son. I watched him a few times this week and had so much fun. Ethan and him got along so well! Today I took them to the Zoo. We had a great time. The girls got pretty tired because it was their nap time but we had a good time. Here are a few pics I took.

Time with the fam

Around here we are crazy busy..... to say the least. We have about a zillion family events, birthdays, errands and so forth. I am so thankful for my life even though sometimes I feel like its going to spin out of control from all of the stuff we are doing.

A few weeks ago Mike said " I think we should do a Family Home Evening on Mondays". I loved the idea. So far we have gone bowling with Ethan ( the girls would have been crazy the whole time so they stayed with Grandma and Grandpa), and this week we just had a nice night in with a movie. We watched The Princess and the Frog. Ethan had already seen it in the theater but loved watching it again. Sophie had fallen asleep really early and Emma was just playing in her room pretty chill. We decided to see if Emma would come watch with us.....She did and then fell asleep. At almost the same moment Sophie decided her late evening nap was over and woke up. She came down and cuddled with me and watched the rest of the movie.

I loved having my whole family in the same room doing the same thing. With three little busy bodies it doesn't happen very often around here. I am so thankful for my family. It seems like just recently I have been an emotional wreck....in a good way....I just get so overwhelmed with how much I have been blessed. I have a wonderful husband who works so hard for our family and makes me smile every day. I love him so much. He has such a big heart and we have so much fun together. I also have been blessed with not one....but three beautiful, healthy, happy (for the most part) kids. They just make me so happy. I just cant get enough of them. They are so smart and also have big hearts....just like daddy. Just last night on the way to my moms house Ethan said " I love you girls"! He may not get along with them all the time but he sure loves them with all of his heart. One other example that comes to mind is one Sunday on our way home my uncle was holding one of the babies as we were saying goodbye. Ethan thought that he was taking her home and he said " Give us our baby".

Thank you Mike, Ethan, Emma and Sophie for making my life so happy. I love you with all of my heart!
